Profile extrusion is the core competence of Plasopan Engineers ( India ) Pvt. Ltd. We have been perfecting our mastery of this technology for over 37 (1979) years.

We can extrude various types of plastics namely.

  1. Rigid PVC (U – PVC) : is a moderately priced rigid material that is strong, abrasion resistant, and naturally ignition resistant. It is co-extrudable with flexible PVC, to produce a wide range of unique applications.
  2. Flexible PVC (P – PVC) : is a moderately priced flexible material, with a rubber or leather like feel. It is often the material of choice for bumper edges, refrigerator gaskets and seals. Ideal for components that have to bend easily
  3. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) : is a rigid material noted for its structural rigidity, toughness, pleasant surface luster, and colourablity. It has a higher heat deflection temperature than PVC and is resistant to scuffing, staining, and chemicals.
  4. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) : this material offers good chemical resistance, natural lubricity and provides excellent abrasion resistance.
  5. Polypropylene (PP) : is similar to high density polyethylene. It is the material from which the “living hinge” extrusions are made.
  6. Polycarbonate: Polycarbonate (PC) is a clear, colorless polymer used extensively for engineering and optical applications Outstanding properties include impact strength and scratch resistance. The most serious deficiencies are poor weatherability and chemical resistance.
  7. Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) : are flexible materials that provide better physical and thermal properties than PPVC.
  8. Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) PP blended with EPDM

Our engineers begin the custom plastic extrusion process with part design. Your designs can be faxed or sent via e-mail using the AutoCAD file format. Plasopan engineers will work with you to create the optimum part design, minimize costs and maximize dimensional control.

Our engineers both design and build the extrusion dies and the plastic fabrication equipment using the latest in computer aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM). This continuity in the process ensures that tooling is built to the highest quality standards, resulting in the highest quality extruded plastics available.

We have our own tool room to make dies & jigs as per your requirements. All tooling is designed, engineered and tested under the watchful eyes of our experienced technical team, using the latest CAD facilities.

We also have facilities to extrude flexible & co-extruded profiles.

We can do the following post production processes for our customers:

  • Hot Foiling
  • Logo Marking
  • Printing

We are presently extruding 30 colours, but custom colours can also be extruded as per your requirement.
